Welcome!

We have begun a new adventure and hope you come along with us!  We don't care if you are a new vanner, or if you have been a vanner since before many of us were born...  Hell, we don't even care if you don't currently have a van!

Let's see where this takes us...

If you would like to be a contributing author, pop me an email and I'll see what it takes to get you added on...  this is new to me too, so there may be some head scratching involved at first...

So sit back, crack a cold one, and let your imagination run wild!

  1. Vannin get a new format here in Vannin Inc Mag, at Vannin Inc we will celebrate the vans we love. If you talk to someone who is not a vanner and most will say vannin was a fad from the 70's & 80's. In some ways they are right and wrong at the same time. Gone are the days of 3000 plus vans at the Van Nationals, but vannin didn't die. Even with the higher gas prices of the 80's and cheap conversions of the 80's vannin didn't die. One thing I believe hurt vannin more than anything was the mini van. No longer families were buying station wagons. Moms were now hauling the kids around to school, practice and games. The mini van was now the new station wagon. Suddenly it was very uncool to drive a van.

Even with all that vannin didn't die, It did flounder for a few years in the 90's. Then something new came in the 90's the internet. The internet has gave vannin some new life. Now Vanners can keep in contact like never before on sites like Vannin.com, Early Econoline and Dodge A100 yahoo groups, Vintage-vans.com and VCVC.org just to name a few.

Now vanners are not alone they are talking and helping each other with parts, repairs and how to do van mods. There few other sources that has helped also. Ebay and craigslist with ebay we are finding hard to find parts that are no longer made. With craiglist we are finding vans all over the US.
The internet is also helping to bring new vanners into vans. The public is now seeing vans as cool again!!!!
