I dare to say, without the threat of opposition, that disc and rotors are far better than drum and shoes when it comes to braking. First developed around 1900 in Europe, it was another 50 or so years later before disc brakes became a option on new cars. Most popular on sports cars when they were introduced, discs have become the most common form of braking in passenger vehicles.
Drum brakes were standard in Early Van production lines and disc brakes were NOT an option... But I have good news!

Michel isn't in it for the money... He does it for the love of Early Vans and to help other Vanners. In fact, for every set sold, he donates $10 to the Vanning Club of the buyer's choice!
